Blue Light Protection
Almost all computer screens now use LED lighting. This type of lighting
has a higher peak luminosity in blue light than other types of lighting. BlueBan special tints provide effective protection against this peak luminosity (see spectrum).
Unlike traditional glass treatments, which filter out only 20 to 25% of blue light, BlueBan tints filter out 60% to 70% of this harmful light.

Relaxation
Some factors play a part in the visual fatigue experienced after long hours of screen work. The aggressiveness of blue light (more information on blue light in low-vision shades), and the high brightness of screens.
BlueBan tints are an effective way of reducing brightness while maintaining contrast (which is not possible by reducing the brightness of the screen).
