Principle

To address the needs of people with various visual impairments, such as colour vision defects and severe light sensitivity in patients with glaucoma, cataract, age related macular degeneration, pigmentary retinopathy, diabetic retinopathy, etc. LESA France offers a full range of special absorptive therapeutic filters developed specifically for Low Vision applications. (Age related macular degeneration is a genetically transmissible disease and is responsible for an increasing number of cases of low vision. Condition affects the macular region, the area which enables us to see objects in central vision. A slight visual discomfort at first, more or less then gradually the lesion increases to form a central spot to form a central spot -scotoma. UV light is harmful to the eye, but it has been shown that blue light also has a harmful effect. These are the short, energetic waves of daylight. The clips are used as standard non-refractive clips over existing prescription glasses and are available in different sun protection categories from 1 (indoor or cloudy weather) to 3-4 (outdoor, sunny weather) and tints. Category 4 - not suitable for driving!
